The long trip to the USA had been a lot of fun but we needed get back to the real world and prepare for the school year. This focus carried us on through the end of August and into early September.
Malcolm’s birthday celebration was a quiet affair at home…a local school (not ours) had caught fire while we were away.
Luckily the weather was nice for a change and the kids enjoyed some park time, rode the bus, did some dressing up, etc.
Sophie had her permanent cast fitted on 27 August. The clinician was the same person who removed Malcolm’s big leg cast a couple of months prior. Sophie got to choose the color (red) and later on had a celebratory Starbucks Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino.
